Starry Mocha Cake

Mocha Cake: (This cake is for my dear Grandmother, I miss her a lot. I wish she was here to taste this cake. I know she would have loved it; she loved coffee)....So this is a rich, moist chocolate cake with a coffee cream center, frosted with a mocha cream and topped with a generous amount of chocolate curls. To add some dazzle there are little stars sprinkled on top. Fun! Hope you like it :)

Mana Cupcakes!

So hey New flavor of cupcakes are out! My friend Mana once told me about Lindt Chili Chocolates and I have been addicted ever since! She suggested that I try making chili chocolate cupcakes one day and they became a massive hit. This is my chili chocolate with a twist and I am naming it after my lovely friend Mana.. (her name also happens to mean 'food from heaven.' Perfect!) Mana is not a very "frosting" person but she tried the cupcake and said that she loved it nonetheless... I hope you like it too.

New cake!! :D

 So TADAaaaaaa!! This is my new cake flavor that has now become a super hit! It was an order for a birthday cake that was supposed to be fruity but not the usual pineapple and cream cake. So I came up with my new cake flavor, here it is, a Butter Sponge Cake with Raspberry Fudge and Buttercream frosting! So when are you ordering yours??  And hey!! While you're at it why don't you grab a cake in a jar. This is a chocolate and cream jar. Its super fun and totally delicious!

Happy Birthday !!! :D

I have been swamped with orders and things have been hectic,  good hectic.  The highlight of the week was a three tier cake.
1st Birthdays are always fun! So here is Hari's niece, Mihika's cake. Its a chocolate and cream cake covered in whipped cream and fondant. There were cupcakes with butterflies all around the cake but I forgot to take a picture of the cupcakes :( . Well they loved the cake and that made me very happy... Bake to baking!

Butterflies :)

So I have an order for the cutest little thing. My friend Hari's niece is turning one next weekend and his sister wanted something different. So I was thinking of three tier cake with cupcakes all around. Here is the sample of the butterfly cupcakes. The cupcakes are not the same flavor as the ones I'll be using for the birthday, instead I tried creating my new flavor of cupcakes. It was inspired by my friend Shilo. Once when we were in Rajasthan, Shilo jumped excitedly out of our auto to buy a glass of rose milk. I loved the rose milk so much that I finished drinking the entire glass all by myself. Shilo always makes me look at the world through pretty rose tinted glasses hehe :) These cakes are super light and have a hint of rose and cream. I hope you like it! :) OOOOOOOoooh and I got my visiting cards from the printers. They messed it up. But well it happens, right? I am still excited about them.

 Another thing that made me super happy... I got this lovely box of homemade liquor chocolates yesterday! They were made by my friend, Priyanka Daga's childhood friend's mother...They are absolutely delicious! Thanks Saket!
