Lots of Love in a Happy Little Cupcake

I love making cupcakes. It's the happiest feeling ever. This is a batch of my new flavour; it's a chocolate chip cupcakes with milk chocolate frosting. I sprinkled it with homemade chocolate flowers, sugar sprinkles and a whole lot of love. Hope you like it.

Bumblebee

Hey! So yesterday I made this set of cupcakes that had a Transformers' theme. The girl who the cupcakes were for is a huge transformers fan and this is what we came up with. The cupcakes were vanilla butter sponge with a vanilla cream center and a lemon cream cheese frosting, (as suggested by the client). The little Chibi style bumble bee was made out of sugar paste. The season to be Jolly

OOOOOoooooh My favorite time of the year is here already! Can't believe time has gone by so fast. It's just such a beautiful time; a time of new beginnings, love and most of all yumminess! So this is the first of my new line of Christmas cakes. This one is a chocolate cake with gingerbread spiced cream layers and chocolate ganache! Totally delicious! The cake covered in flowers is a vanilla butter sponge with a chewy toffee  center :) Fun! Hope you like it!!

Love for all things pretty

Sorry! Its been ages since I posted. I have been busy with "Hungry?" and in all the rush I have been awful about taking pictures of all our creations. Sadly we missed taking pictures of some really amazing ones. Sigh! But I finally managed to remember to bolt upstairs for my camera to take pictures of these yummy treats. So, this is Hungry?'s super chunky chocolate chip cookies. We use chocolate chunks rather than those small chocolate chips that are hardly satisfying. Oh.My.God! Time for cupcakes!!

I had such an amazing day today! I got the new boxes for our cupcakes and cookies! I baked a batch of cupcake sampler boxes today.  This evening I got to walk around brigade road. I haven't done that in a while and I had the most amazing people by my side and that's what made the walk super special. It could not have got any better, really. I was like a happy little kid, walking around, hugging and holding onto my boxes of cupcakes real tight. It was that perfect Bangalore weather. I ate momo's and hopped around puddles. I love that feeling when you walk down brigade road and walk past hundreds of people. You walk past so many strangers, so many faces; but in a strange way I always found that comforting. It's like walking by other stories, walking by other lives,  and getting a glimpse of it, from that moment of eye contact, from that bit of conversation you hear as they pass by.
   This time around my walk on Brigade road was slightly different for me though, I was not lost in thoughts of 'what if?' I was living the life I was born to live. I am alive and loving each moment of it. I am living my dream and nothing as looked this beautiful. So, this time as I walked by other's lives, I did not pause and wish I could walk in someone else's shoes. I will never swap this for anything. Yummy!

Starry Mocha Cake

Mocha Cake: (This cake is for my dear Grandmother, I miss her a lot. I wish she was here to taste this cake. I know she would have loved it; she loved coffee)....So this is a rich, moist chocolate cake with a coffee cream center, frosted with a mocha cream and topped with a generous amount of chocolate curls. To add some dazzle there are little stars sprinkled on top. Fun! Hope you like it :)
