Little Nayna

It has been a while since I posted and this is only because I have been busy with work. Well, my blog and the oh so lovely people who visit have inspired me to create my very own cookbook.  I changed my style a couple of times and I finally settled on this one. It is very different from what I am used to, but  I have slowly come to realise that change is good. We all go through trials and tribulations and no one has it easy, really. I have come to realize that the only thing that really makes you survive is the right attitude towards things and the will to live life to the fullest.
This book is for my super amazing niece who fought all odds to survive. I hope I'll be able to teach her to paint and cook someday.
Well, I hope you all will pick up a copy of the book when it is finally out.
Lots of love and happiness!

Illustrated Cookbook

Hey, so here is a spread from my own illustrated cookbook. Exciting! Let me know what you think :)

Flea Market Sunday

On Sunday, my friends and I put up a stall at 'Kitsch Mandi.' We sold our pretty, happy, colourful paintings, postcards, bags, cushion covers, and painted cupcakes. Sadly, it poured cats and dogs and my poor cupcakes got drenched. But hey that doesn't mean that we had an awful sale. I had the love and support of my amazing family and super awesome friends. As the rains poured down, my friends held up my trays of cupcakes and protected them from the rain. We had people buying the cupcakes in the midst of  all the chaos .We shared beautiful stories as all of us crammed up and struggled to hold the trays up in the shade; Stories of serving exotic platters of hors d'Ĺ“uvres at fancy banquet parties to first loves and pixies. Shilo and me agreed that our stall was the happiest of them all. This post of for all the love and happiness that Sunday brought; its for all my friends, new and old.
