Lemon and Honey Cake










For sun kissed days. For Lemon and Happiness. For Honey :)


  • Ingredients:
  • 1/4 cup honey, plus about 1/4 cup extra for the frosting
  • 225g unsalted butter
  • 1 and 3/4 cup dark Brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs, beaten, + 2 egg whites for the frosting
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tsps baking powder
  • Juice of 3 lemons.
Directions:
Cream the Butter and sugar.

Add honey and eggs.









Fold in the flour lemon and baking powder.





Pour into a  greased baking tin and bake at 190℃ till the fork comes out clean, about 30-40 mins.
